Dr. Sharfaa Chowdhury is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She received her doctorate degree in nursing practice (DNP) from Wayne State University and has been with MWCPeds since 2024. Her background as a nurse included cardiology and critical care in the hospital setting. After completing her NP studies, she started working in family medicine where she provided adult, pediatric, and gynecological/family planning services. She is passionate about providing comprehensive and holistic care to all of her patients. She enjoys working in a multicultural setting and getting to know patients and their families. Her favorite part of working in Jersey City is the diverse community she has been able to meet and learn from. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with family.
