Marcela Alvarado is a dedicated, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive expertise in neonatal and pediatric care. With a diverse background spanning school nursing, faculty professorship in undergraduate nursing, and clinical experience in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Marcela brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to clinical practice.
She earned her degree from Felician University, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based care, and has since become a leading figure in maternal-child health. As a principal investigator, Marcela has spearheaded several impactful research projects aimed at advancing the well-being of mothers and children.
In addition to her clinical work, Marcela has been recognized for her global impact, having served as a United Nations Fellow Intern with the RASIT-Women in Science International League, where she represented the organization and contributed to global initiatives in healthcare.
