Dr. Naveen Mehrotra is an excellent pediatrician. He is kind, patient, and takes the time to listen to all concerns without making parents feel rushed. He explains everything clearly and makes us feel comfortable and confident about our baby’s care. His front staff is very friendly, and the office is well organized. We are very grateful to have such a caring and knowledgeable doctor for our son as a first-time parents. Highly recommend Dr. Mehrotra to any parent looking for a trustworthy pediatrician. Also, Nurse Sujata is very kind, professional & always makes us feel comfortable. I will highly recommend Dr. Mehrotra for any new first time parents!!

My whole child pediatrics was a terrible experience for me and my family. When my son was born this was the first pediatric office we came to. I was a parent for 2 weeks at that point so me and my wife had a lot of questions. Our first visit to the Piscataway office the lobby was packed. That is understandable, but there was a gentle man waiting there for over an hour he said. In all fairness we were called up within 20 minutes so I see that as quick for a first time visit. We had Dr. Poppy come see us. She gave us some basic information, but me an my wife had questions but as quick as she came in the patient room, she left just as quick. We were in the middle of asking her a question with her making eye contact with us and she still kept walking out. It was probably a 5 minute visit from the doctor. We thought they were just busy that day and she had others to see so we shock it off. A week later, the same experience occurred, but this time there were even more people waiting, and there wasn't even enough seating. We were called into our room and the patient bed was dirty. Liquids on the tissue paper, and it was ripped up, and there was the cap to a shot sitting on the bed! It did not seem clean at all. Dr. Poppy saw our son again and again she did not bother to answer our questions or just stay to help 3 week old parents find some answers. We went maybe 1 or 2 more times until we switched doctors. I have more reasons why we hated it here. This place had no warmth or care about the babies that entered. They overbooked themselves and collected payment. When we switched to a new practice it was like night and day the difference in treatment. No line, as much time as we needed to ask the questions we had, and a guiding voice that would even call us first to make sure everything was still okay. I do not recommend coming here at all!!!

We’ve had a very positive experience at My Whole Child Pediatrics. Dr. Naveen Mehrotra is an excellent pediatrician — patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He always takes the time to listen to our concerns, explains everything clearly, and makes us feel comfortable and reassured during every visit. We truly appreciate the attention and care he provides to our child. A special mention to Sujata as well — she is always kind, helpful, and welcoming. Whether it’s scheduling appointments, answering questions, or helping during visits, she goes above and beyond to support parents and make the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

Highly, highly recommend MyWholeChild Pediatrics. My daughter went for care there from age 2 through 6, and received excellent care all along. Dr. Mehrotra and Dr. Pompy have excellent bedside manners and engage with kids in a very friendly, reassuring manner. My kid loved them and the comforting environment they provided. The support staff is excellent too. Appointments are generally available and after-hours care/consultation and service over the phone is very reliable too.
